DocuWare Integration in Microsoft Outlook

Newburgh NY, February 1, 2010 - It is now possible with DocuWare's Document Management solutions to directly access and use archived e-mail and documents right out of Microsoft Outlook.

E-mail keeps flooding in. Even critical business documents are increasingly being exchanged electronically. This makes it that much more important to securely and centrally archive e-mail along with related information contained in paper documents, faxes, images and files in a way that can be accessed with just one click.

It has long been possible to store electronic e-mail straight out of Microsoft Outlook into DocuWare. But now, with the newest version of the Document Management System, it is possible to use Outlook to directly access archived e-mail and documents from the central document pool. Attachments in a variety of formats can be seamlessly displayed and edited in the Microsoft application as well as sent in an original format or as a PDF. It is also simple to integrate DocuWare result and task lists into the e-mail program. The user can then monitor deadlines and documents such as invoices awaiting authorization - without ever leaving the Microsoft Outlook application. Self-defined search masks facilitate the streamlining of processes.

With this new functionality, DocuWare provides its users with another tool to simplify routine tasks helping them save time and money.
