DocuWare is ISO-9001 Certified

Upon completion of the auditing process, it was confirmed that DocuWare's methodology fulfills the requirements of the international standard EN ISO 9001:2008

Newburgh, NY, November 17, 2009 - DocuWare's Quality Management System meets the requirements of the international standard EN ISO 9001:2008 as certified by the German Quality Management Academy. For DocuWare users it is further proof that the company behind the document management system fulfills the highest standards in its ongoing product development.
In creating its standards-based software, DocuWare relies on clearly defined and documented processes. The company's Quality Management System (QMS) has been examined by numerous external, independent testing organizations, including one that resulted in a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, Title 21 CFR Part 11. In striving for the highest level of product quality, the Document Management specialist applied for ISO-9001 certification through the German Quality Management Academy. The main requirements for certification are that companies implement methods and processes to prevent errors and have a seamlessly functioning QMS in place.
Upon completion of the auditing process, it was confirmed that DocuWare's methodology fulfills the requirements of the international standard EN ISO 9001:2008. Specifically, the company was awarded the certificate in the category of "Production of Standard Software for Document Management."
